Sustainable Bainbridge would not exist without volunteers like you! Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved in any of our programs or any of the opportunities listed below. You are also welcome to attend a Sustainable Bainbridge board meeting or our program meetings (all listed on the events page or the individual program pages).

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Salmon monitoring volunteer

Citizen volunteers are placed in teams of three or four individuals who agree to visit their designated stream once per week between October and early December.

Litter Pick-up

80% of ocean litter comes from the land. If you’d like to do some trash pick-up and need to borrow a grabber, email Zero Waste. If you’re getting together for a group pick-up, we can lend out about 25 grabbers.
